TKI LIVE POLE COUPLER KIT

The TKI live pole coupler was designed to make your live pole or your ice pole more compact.  The 2 piece coupler can be added to any TKI live pole or ice pole buy cutting the tube. The coupler is machined from billet aluminum and hard anodized for corrosion and wear resistance.  The coupler is designed for tubes that are 1 ¼ inches in diameter.

You can cut the tube on you live pole to make it shorter, or you can buy 2 couplers and a piece of tube and extend your pole for those northern lakes that get lots of ice.

The coupler comes with a tube of retaining compound.  When fishing early season in shallow ice, I recommend cutting the tube in half, that way your transducer could be mounted on the top portion.  As you get thicker ice, the bottom section can be added.

To install the coupler, you will need to cut the tube to desired length.  We prefer to put the OD threaded coupler on the handle section.  You will need to clean and install the retaining compound onto the shaft of the handle section, place it onto the shaft and let the retaining compound setup for 10-15 minutes.  Now you can install the lower coupler, when doing this make sure to thread the couplers together so you can time the wire slot in the lower pole to match the handle.  Its best to have the handle and the wire slot on the same side of the pole, the wires will be at a better angle when the transducer is attached.
