The TKI net guard is used on Beckman and clam nets. There are 2 different parts.
The guard slides onto the handle and keeps the sharp edges of the hoop head, from gouging the fiberglass or aluminum on the boat.
Installation is easy with just removing the handle. A small dab of RTV silicone can be placed on the handle to keep it from sliding, or you can put 1 wrap of black tape on the handle and then slide the protector over the tape and snug against the hoop head.
